Job Description:

As FX Dealer you are responsible to:

  1. Monitoring the Bank’s Net Open Position on a daily basis.
  2. Ensuring Active and Sound engagement In the FX Market.
  3. Preparation of a Weekly plan for further submission and review of the CFO/Treasury Manager.
  4. Fundamental and Technical Analysis of the FX Market.
  5. Monitoring the local FX Market and taking the necessary action in Line with the Delegation of Power.
  6. Active Trading in Well-Known Currency Pairs such EUR/USD GBP/USD.
  7. Active Participation in the DAB Currency Auction.
  8. To attend to any other matter that may not have been mentioned in this document but advised by Treasury Manager.

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as ACI (The Financial Markets Association) or CFA are highly desirable.

Experience Required

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in foreign exchange dealing or treasury operations.

Strong familiarity with forex markets, trading platforms, and related financial instruments.

Competencies Required      

 •Expertise in FX trading, including spot, forward, and swap transactions.

•Proficiency in using trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or other FX systems.

•Strong analytical skills for interpreting market trends and managing risks.

•Solid understanding of FX regulations, compliance, and market standards.

•Ability to manage liquidity and optimize FX positions to achieve profitability.

•Effective communication skills to liaise with counterparties and internal teams.

•Strong attention to detail and precision in executing trades.

•Advanced problem-solving skills to handle discrepancies and manage market risks.
