Job Description:
Tax & Compliance Officer will be responsible for all DACAAR taxation issues and any other statutory reports required by the government
- Responsible for proper deduction of taxes at source and deposit into Government Treasury within the prescribed time mentioned under Tax law.
- Preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly and annual withholding tax statements in accordance to country Income Tax law.
- Preparation and filing of Annual Income Tax Return of the Organization on the basis of information provided.
- Review and check Tax Computations for Employees , Rental , contractor and supplier when ever required.
- Prepare tax computation and make sure tax compliance.
- Review financial records and documentations needed to prepare tax returns.
- Calculate from preparation fees according to return complexity and processing time required.
- Check data input or verify totals on forms prepared by others to detect errors, data entry or procedures.
- In close coordination with the Stock Team proper handling the stock issues.
- Develop specific goals and plan for easy accomplishment of work.
- Coordinate with the Finance Coordinator (Treasury) for any assigned duty .
- When requires travel & conduct training for field Finance & Admin officers.
- The holder of this position must strictly follows the organization existing security policies, procedures and daily instructions of the safety personnel.

Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance is required
Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in (Tax & Compliance) with NGO is required
Other qualifications’ an advantage:
- Working experience as a tax & compliance position will be given preference.
- Full Command of MS office Package, finance SUN system,
Languages: Oral & Written fluency in English, Pashto and Dari is required.
