Job Description:

  • Ensure adherence with Moraa Institute of Health Science policies, tools, and guidelines.
  • Conduct surveys in public and private hospitals in assigned province
  • Collect standardized data related to health personnel: doctors, nurses, midwives’ technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Interview with health personnel and HR officers.
  • Conduct interviews and fill out the relevant structured survey forms.
  • Collaborate with provincial health authorities and hospital administration.
  • Review the collected data, submit accurate and complete data to survey specialist.
  • Follow ethical and confidentiality protocols during fieldwork.
  • Provide daily updates to the supervising survey specialist.
  • Ensure proper use of data collection tools (paper and digital, e.g., tablets or Kobo Toolbox, etc.)
  • Ensure photographic documentation during data collection.
  • Follow daily work plans and adhere to assigned hospital visit schedules.
  • Participation in review meetings or debriefings when required.
  • Immediately report any issues or challenges faced in the field.
  • Ensure secure transfer and backup of collected data regularly.
  • Maintain proper coordination and good relationships with hospital staff and local authorities.
  • Any other tasks assigned by line supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in field data collection, community-based surveys, or public health assessments.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong knowledge of local context and familiarity with public and private hospital systems in their province.
  • Good communication skills in local languages (Pashto and Dari); working knowledge of English is an advantage.
  • Ability to use mobile data collection tools (e.g., Kobo Toolbox, ODK) is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable using smartphones or tablets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with health personnel, administrators, and provincial health authorities.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness of data.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
