1. Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Scientist to research, develop, and optimize advanced materials for high-performance applications. This role involves investigating material properties, developing new composites, and improving existing materials to meet specific engineering requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science, chemistry, or physics, with hands-on experience in material characterization and testing.

2. Key Responsibilities:

• Research and develop advanced materials, including metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites, for specialized applications.
• Conduct experiments to analyze material properties such as strength, durability, thermal stability, and corrosion resistance.
• Utilize advanced characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, XRD, FTIR, DSC) to study material microstructure and behavior.
• Design and optimize material formulations to enhance performance, sustainability, or cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to integrate new materials into mechanical, electronic, or structural systems.
• Perform failure analysis and root-cause investigations to improve material reliability and lifespan.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
• Document research findings, experimental procedures, and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated with advancements in materials science, nanotechnology, and additive manufacturing.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Master’s or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge of material properties, synthesis techniques, and characterization methods.
3. Hands-on experience with material testing equipment (e.g., tensile testers, rheometers, spectrometers).
4. Proficiency in analytical software (e.g., MATLAB, Python) and data analysis tools.
5. Familiarity with computational modeling of material behavior (e.g., finite element analysis, molecular dynamics).
6. Experience in developing materials for specific applications (e.g., aerospace, electronics, energy storage).
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and experimental design skills.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Work Environment

1. Research laboratories and testing facilities.
2. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineers.
3. Hands-on work with material synthesis, testing equipment, and prototyping tools.
