ASK Training and Consulting is consulting firm active in supporting the international development and co-operation sector. ASK was officially founded in 2015, in Kabul, Afghanistan, and has been operating since then. Job Description:

We are currently seeking professionals to lead and facilitate training sessions in the following domains:

Below is the expected number of days for each training domain. All sessions are full-day commitments (typically 6–8 hours/day).

    1. AI integration with ERP and In-house Apps-6 days (Full day)
    2. Telco to Tech-Co Revolution-1 day (Full day)
    3. Professional training for Installation and Governance-2 days (Full day)
    4. iTSM & M-iTSM- 2 days (Full day)
    5. Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence-5 days (Full day)
    6. Innovation and Emerging Technologies Training-5 days (Full day)
    7. Financial Acumen and Technology Investment Training- 3 days (Full day)
    8. Regulatory and Compliance Training- 5 days (Full day)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development:
    Design or adapt comprehensive training materials based on ASK’s curriculum standards and tailored to the target audience’s level and organizational context.
  • Training Delivery:
    Deliver training sessions effectively, whether in-person or online, using interactive and engaging methodologies.
  • Assessment:
    Develop and administer pre- and post-training assessments to measure participant learning and effectiveness.
  • Reporting:
    Submit concise training reports including evaluation metrics, participant feedback, identified challenges, and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with ASK program staff to ensure content quality, contextual alignment, and client satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Engineering, Business, Quality Management, Telecommunications, Finance, etc.)
  • Master’s degree or equivalent postgraduate certification preferred
  • Professional certifications in relevant domains are highly desirable (e.g., CMQ/OE, ITIL, PMP, AI/ML, ERP systems, Regulatory Compliance, etc.)

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in one or more of the relevant training areas
  • Prior experience designing and delivering professional training for public or private sector organizations
  • Experience working with ERP systems, AI tools, or Telco/Tech-Co transformation is a significant advantage
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and interactive training techniques

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in using virtual training platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet)
  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills
  • Fluency in English (oral and written); knowledge of Dari and/or Pashto is an asset
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality

Additional Assets:

  • Flexibility to conduct training either in-person or remotely
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to localize content to Afghan institutional and organizational contexts
  • Availability to deliver short-term training on a project or on-call basis
