About ACTD:

ACTD stands for Afghanistan Center for Training and Development. ACTD is an Afghan national non-governmental and non for-profit organization, founded in April 2006, and registered with national ministries (Ministry of Economy, and Ministry of Public Health) of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. ACTD is the product of consultations, assessments and dialog among well versed professionals of the current development and democratization stream of Afghanistan. Immediately after establishment, ACTD focused on aligning its structures and systems to the higher needs of the country and international standards of non-profit practice.

Job Description:

The Laboratory Technician will perform essential diagnostic tests in support of clinical services during mobile health camps. The technician is responsible for sample collection, rapid testing (e.g., malaria, pregnancy, hemoglobin), and maintaining proper hygiene and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Collect and process blood, urine, and other samples
  • Perform rapid diagnostic tests and record results accurately
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Follow infection control and waste disposal procedures
  • Support clinical staff with timely test results
