About AADA:
Agency for Assistance and Development of Afghanistan (AADA) is an Afghan non-profit non-governmental organization working for the development of Afghanistan mainly through (1) provision of quality health services; (2) community development; (3) training and capacity building at professional and community levels; and (4) research in topics of public health and social sciences besides various projects in different parts of Afghanistan.
Job Description:
- Identify and leads new programing opportunities, coordinate with provincial and programs staff, and represent AADA to donors, partners and other stakeholders;
- Conduct needs assessments and gathers data to firm up program requirements.
- Lead development of proposals, EOIs, concept notes and reports;
- Lead development of documents, data and information required by AADA and/or donors;
- Develop AADA Annual Report;
- Identify weaknesses and gaps in AADA policies and procedures and plan for corrective actions;
- Participate in revision and development of AADA policies and procedures;
- Ensure that tracking database is kept up to date for all ongoing program;
- Participate in project planning in close coordination with relevant AADA departments;
- Review/revise and update contents of the information in AADA website;
- Review/revise and submit reports to donors;
- Perform any other official tasks assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in public health with a minimum of 3 years of experience in program development
- Excellent coordination, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate clearly and effectively at all levels;
- Experience in presenting project information to donors and partners;
- Fluency in written and spoken English language
- Fluency in written and spoken in English language
