About ASPSO:
Afghanistan Strategic & policy Studies Organization (ASPSO), hereafter written as (ASPSO),was registered with the Ministry of Economy of the Islamic republic of Afghanistan in 2018 primarily aiming to work alongside other national and international partners for poverty reduction and women empowerment focusing on alleviating the sufferings of the most vulnerable group of the society in different community structures such as rural, urban, IDPs, returnees, etc. intending to facilitate this vulnerable group to regain the dignity based on enhancing their technical capabilities to become skilled and gain sustainable income for contributing family economy and take an active part in the reconstruction and development of the country in all aspects ranging from livelihood to education, Agriculture, economic empowerment, governance, and social empowerment. ASPSO with years of experience in most challenging and competitive environments in Afghanistan, handles and manage all facets of services an NGO provides with focus on livelihood projects, education projects, Agriculture projects, Humanitarian assistance, Emergency response project, Social Behavior change projects, Child protection projects, Health care projects and all kind of projects from design to implementation on the job site and to outcome evaluation and acquisition. We refer to this model as Building for "E.F.F.E.C. T" (Efficient, Fast, Forward-Thinking, Engineered Committed Team) This proven methodology ensures timely, safe, and definite completion within the given scope, time and budget; meeting all environmental and situational challenges. Job Description:
Job Summery
Supporting project managers by overseeing project activities, ensuring compliance, and contributing to project success. They work under the supervision of a project manager and are responsible for implementing projects, often at a local or district level.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring activities are carried out according to plan and guidelines.
- Adhering to government regulations, grant rules, and financial regulations.
- Tracking project progress, collecting and compiling information, and submitting reports.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration with stakeholders, including Community- Based Organizations (CBOs).
- Ensuring proper documentation, data collection, and reporting.
- Assisting the project manager in managing the team and ensuring effective communication.
- In addition to these core responsibilities, Project Officers may also be involved in.
- Contributing to the development of project plans and action plans.
- Managing project resources, including budget, materials, and personnel.
- Identifying and mitigating potential project risks.
- Conducting training and capacity building activities for project staff.
Job Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related field (Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of project Managment experience, preferably in NGO/INGO sectors.
- Computer: Excellent understanding and usage of MS Office packages.
- Languages: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dari/Pashto
