Job Description:
The Social Organizer will work under the supervision of the Women Community Center Supervisor to implement community-based programs and activities aimed at supporting vulnerable women and girls at the Women Community Centers (WCC. The role involves engaging with the community, organizing outreach activities, and facilitating access to services for beneficiaries while ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach activities to raise awareness of Women Community Center (WCC) services with communities.
- Organize focus group discussions (FGDs) and community dialogues addressing gender-based violence (GBV) and women's protection with the help of PSS counselors.
- Collaborate with community leaders and stakeholders to enhance community participation and support for the centers.
- Assist in the referral of vulnerable women and girls to appropriate services within and outside the WCC.
- Support PSS Counsellors in delivering psychological first aid (PFA) and other services to beneficiaries.
- Support the Women Community Center Supervisor in reporting outcomes of activities and services delivered.
- Support the distribution of hygiene kits to Girls at risk.
- Facilitate the completion of necessary documentation for service provision and referrals.
- Work closely with PSS Counsellors, other social organizers, and support staff to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with community-based protection mechanisms and other service providers.
- Traveling to the field and conducting meetings with the community to offer services related to GBV and Women's protection.
- Participate in regular meetings with the Women Community Center Supervisor to discuss progress, challenges, and community needs.
- Support the capacity building of community members and leaders to foster a supportive environment for women and girls.
- Adhere to WASSA’s PSEA and safeguarding policies at all times.
- Ensure ethical and safe procedures are followed regarding data protection and service delivery to beneficiaries.
