Job Description:

Active participation and collaboration in the management of P4P (Pay for Performance) based on the performance of the health center.
-
Responsible for managing the relevant P4P indicators in their own section at the health center level.
-
Ensuring the provision of health services, accurate recording, reliable data collection, and trustworthy reporting for the related department.

Responsible for analyzing the performance of the related P4P indicators in accordance with the health center’s PIP (Project Implementation Plan).

Active participation and collaboration in preparing and aligning the department’s PIP at appropriate times and taking timely corrective actions.

Adherence to duties and strict compliance with hospital regulations and responsibilities.

Having sufficient knowledge of the national guidelines for providing maternal and newborn healthcare.

Providing maternal and newborn care in the hospital and admitting clients for ANC (Antenatal Care), PNC (Postnatal Care), FP (Family Planning), neonatal care, and their registration.

Accurate recording of ANC and PNC cards, preparing monthly reports on birth spacing, counseling on prenatal and postnatal care, and regular use of tally sheets and HMIS forms.

Accurate recording and use of partographs during delivery care.

Conducting normal deliveries and managing complicated deliveries in consultation with obstetric and gynecology specialists.

Providing initial newborn care and referring complicated cases to pediatricians.

Explaining and encouraging mothers to follow up with prenatal and postnatal care.

Proper care and maintenance of equipment and instruments, and ensuring aseptic and antiseptic conditions of medical equipment and delivery rooms.

Supervising cleanliness and hygiene of the related department and overall hospital according to the scheduled times.

Immediate and timely reporting of obstructed labor and complicated delivery cases to the obstetrician/gynecologist.

Participating in providing health education to patients as needed (delivery tools, postnatal visits, exemption, nutrition, and danger signs in pregnant mothers).

Collaborating with obstetric and gynecology doctors to provide services and improve quality.

Obeying instructions given by the attending obstetric and gynecology doctor and relevant specialists.

Compassionate treatment of patients and their attendants, honesty in performing duties, and efforts to improve professional knowledge.

Preparing and performing initial analysis of health data at the hospital level.

Preparing charts and graphs from health data figures.
-
Creating and renewing information boards with pictures of major activities and achievements.

Helping to strengthen the referral system for cases that require follow-up.
-
Creating a trusting environment and encouraging referral centers to timely refer complicated delivery and cesarean cases.
-
Providing comprehensive and concise professional information in response to referral forms from centers covered by the hospital network.

Maintaining patient confidentiality and refraining from sharing personal and medical information.

Obeying orders from superiors and related instructions in carrying out all official assigned duties.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor of Midwifery with at least one year of experience.

Experience as a trainer is an advantage.
