Job Summary

The Admissions Officer plays a vital role in supporting students throughout the international university admissions process. This position serves as a key liaison between students, parents, universities, and visa authorities, ensuring that all applications are prepared accurately and submitted on time. The Admissions Officer provides counseling, manages documentation, tracks application progress, and assists students until successful enrollment at their chosen institutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Counseling and Guidance

  • Counsel students and parents on study abroad opportunities, including destinations such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
  • Assess academic qualifications, English language proficiency, and financial capacity.
  • Recommend suitable universities and academic programs based on students’ profiles and career goals.
  • Explain admission requirements, deadlines, tuition fees, and scholarship opportunities.

2. Application Processing

  • Assist students in completing online university applications accurately.
  • Review and collect all required documents, including:
    • Academic transcripts and certificates
    • Passport copies
    • English language test results (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo)
    • Personal statements and CVs
    • Financial documents
  • Ensure all applications are submitted within deadlines.

3. University Coordination

  • Communicate with partner universities and admission departments.
  • Track application progress and follow up on outstanding requirements.
  • Obtain offer letters, conditional and unconditional admission letters.
  • Resolve admission-related queries and update students promptly.

4. Visa and Compliance Support

  • Guide students in preparing visa applications and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with:
    • Financial statements
    • Sponsorship letters
    • Medical and police clearance certificates
  • Ensure compliance with immigration regulations and university policies.

5. Student Conversion and Enrollment

  • Support students in accepting offers and paying tuition deposits.
  • Coordinate accommodation, airport pickup, and pre-departure information.
  • Maintain regular communication until the student successfully enrolls.

6. CRM and Database Management

  • Maintain accurate student records in CRM systems such as ApplyBoard, CRM, and internal databases.
  • Update lead status and application milestones.
  • Generate reports on admissions performance and conversion rates.

7. Marketing and Recruitment Support

  • Participate in education fairs, webinars, and promotional events.
  • Follow up with leads generated through social media, referrals, and advertising campaigns.
  • Contribute to achieving monthly and annual enrollment targets.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Business Administration, or International Relations preferred).

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in educational consultancy, admissions, or student counseling.
  • Experience with international university applications is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong command of English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of study abroad destinations and visa procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, WhatsApp, and email communication.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
