Job Description:
- Patient Consultations and Examinations:
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations of patients presenting with ear, nose, and throat symptoms.
- Perform specialized diagnostic procedures, such as endoscopy, audiometry, and imaging studies, to assess the extent and nature of the condition.
- Diagnosis and Treatment:
- Diagnose and treat various ENT disorders and conditions, including but not limited to:
- Ear conditions: hearing loss, ear infections, tinnitus, vertigo.
- Nose conditions: sinusitis, nasal obstruction, allergies, deviated septum.
- Throat conditions: tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, voice disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's diagnosis, incorporating medical, surgical, and therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
- Surgical Interventions:
- Perform surgical procedures related to the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck, including:
- Otologic procedures: tympanoplasty, mastoidectomy, cochlear implantation.
- Rhino logic procedures: septoplasty, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), turbinate reduction.
- Laryngologic procedures: vocal cord surgery, laryngoscopy, micro laryngeal surgery.
- Ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes through meticulous preoperative evaluation, intraoperative care, and postoperative management.
- Patient Education and Counseling:
- Educate patients and their families about their ENT conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Provide counseling on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and postoperative care instructions.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including audiologists, speech-language pathologists, allergists, and radiologists, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Continuous Professional Development:
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ENT diagnosis, treatment modalities, and surgical techniques through ongoing education, training, and participation in professional conferences and seminars.
- Maintain licensure and board certification by fulfilling continuing medical education (CME) requirements and adhering to professional standards and guidelines.
Job Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited medical faculty.
- Specialization in ENT from accredited hospital.
- Proficiency in performing ENT-related surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence and ethical conduct.
