Afghan Women Rights Organization (AWRO) is a national, non-profit, non-political organization working to promote the rights and well-being of Afghan vulnerable populations through initiatives in livelihoods, health, nutrition, education, and humanitarian responses. AWRO has successfully implemented multiple humanitarian projects across Afghanistan, with a strong focus on community engagement, inclusion, and sustainability.

Position Overview

The Agriculture Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and monitoring agricultural training sessions for project beneficiaries in Jawzjan Province. The trainings will be practical, relevant, and aligned with the project’s objectives to enhance agricultural productivity, promote sustainable farming practices, and improve livelihoods. The position requires frequent travel to target districts within the province.

The Agriculture Trainer will design, deliver, and monitor agricultural training sessions for project beneficiaries, ensuring they are practical, relevant, and aligned with project objectives to improve agricultural productivity and livelihoods.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop training agendas, curricula, and plans.
2. Maintain accurate training attendance records.
3. Deliver participatory and hands-on training sessions.
4. Adapt training content based on local agricultural needs.
5. Support monitoring and evaluation of training activities.
6. Conduct pre- and post-training assessments.
7. Gather participant feedback for training improvement.
8. Draft detailed training reports.
9. Compile training-related documents for project records.
10. Collaborate with project staff for effective training implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Agriculture or related field.
• 2 years of experience in agricultural training and services.
• Knowledge of local farming practices in Jawzjan.
• Strong facilitation and communicational skills.
• Willingness to travel to target districts.
• Fluency in Dari/Pashto; basic English preferred.
