Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of multiple construction and installation projects across various provinces. This role requires overseeing all project phases, managing multiple sites concurrently, ensuring compliance with technical standards, budget, schedule, and safety regulations. The Project Manager will coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and external authorities to facilitate smooth project delivery and provide timely reporting to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the execution of construction and installation projects from initiation to final handover, ensuring completion within approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Oversee and coordinate multiple construction and installation sites simultaneously, ensuring that project activities across all locations align with company standards, technical specifications, and contractual obligations.
- Conduct field visits to project sites located in various provinces on a need basis, ensuring direct oversight of work progress, quality, and safety compliance wherever projects are active.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized record keeping of all project documentation, including contracts, permits, technical drawings, correspondence, reports, and financial records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for audits and future reference.
- Establish and maintain effective coordination and communication with all relevant and involved authorities, including local government bodies, regulatory agencies, utility providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project approvals, inspections, and compliance.
- Provide timely, accurate, and detailed progress reports to the Line Manager and other senior management, highlighting project status, challenges, risks, resource needs, and support requests.
- Liaise with local authorities, regulatory agencies, and utility providers to obtain required approvals, inspections, permits, and ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and construction regulations.
- Supervise and coordinate the efforts of internal supporting functions such as Logistics, Finance, Human Resources, and Engineering.
- Track and manage all project-related expenses, ensuring transparent, accurate, and documented financial reporting for budget control and future reference.
- Review and validate technical submissions such as shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals, ensuring alignment with project specifications and contract requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across all sites, supporting safety audits, incident reporting, and promoting a safety-first culture.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, including delays, technical issues, cost overruns, and regulatory challenges, by implementing proactive management and contingency strategies.
- Evaluate and resolve contractor claims, change orders, and disputes, ensuring proper documentation and resolution in line with contractual obligations.
- Lead coordination meetings with site teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to review progress, resolve issues, and align responsibilities.
- Supervise the commissioning, testing, inspection, and final handover of completed works, ensuring all systems are operational and meet client expectations.
- Ensure close-out activities are completed effectively, including submission of as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and project completion certificates.
- Document and share lessons learned from completed projects to improve company procedures and future project delivery.
- Provide leadership and guidance to all project personnel, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across departments and project teams.
- Develop and implement project-specific health, safety, and environmental plans in collaboration with site safety officers.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to contract terms, quality standards, and timelines.
- Facilitate procurement activities by coordinating with the procurement department to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to sites.
- Monitor equipment usage and maintenance schedules to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Conduct regular budget reviews and implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality or safety.
- Assist in dispute resolution and claims negotiation with contractors, suppliers, and clients as necessary.
- Ensure effective communication of project goals, progress, and changes to all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Promote and implement innovative construction methodologies and technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support training and development initiatives for project team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to align project goals with company objectives and market trends.
- Ensure environmental protection measures are integrated into project activities to minimize negative impact.
- Monitor labor productivity and implement measures to optimize workforce performance.
Reporting Line:
The Project Manager reports directly to the Line Manager (CEO, Operation Manager, or assigned Senior Manager depending on company structure).

Job Requirements:

- Bachelors from a recognized university (Master is preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in managing large-scale construction and installation projects, preferably with multi-site exposure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract management, procurement processes, and relevant local regulations.
- Proven experience with budget management, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites across various provinces as required.
