Job Description:

Scope of Work:

The CBNP Project Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting all CBNP activities. The major duties include building the skills of all involved staff and maintaining good cooperation/coordination with the MoPH CBNP Department and other concerned stakeholders.

The CBNP Project Manager:

  • Prepares and implements the CBNP Work Plan at the organizational level.
  • Ensures appropriate staffing of the CBNP at the provincial office.
  • Ensures that the staff is equipped with up-to-date CBNP-related information, guidelines, procedures manual, database, and forms.
  • Enhances and maintains a high level of capacity among staff through planning and implementing CBNP-related training.
  • Compiles, analyzes, and interprets CBNP data received from the community.
  • Provide timely, specific, and relevant feedback to the staff on the provided data and/or information.
  • Conducts bi-annual reviews of the CBNP activities at the organization level and monitors the organization’s performance against the set milestones and targets.
  • Plans and conducts a supervisory visit to the field and provides the project with supervision reports/feedback.
  • Prepares and submits CBNP reports of the project.
  • Contributes to developing quarterly, annual, and end-of-project technical reports.
  • Provide the program staff with up-to-date, relevant, and timely information to plan, implement, and monitor the program activities.
  • Participates as a team member in conducting quantitative and qualitative surveys.
  • Establishes and maintains a good cooperation/coordination mechanism with the concerned department(s) at the Provincial Public Health Directorate and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization in CBNP-related forums, workshops, meetings, etc.

Job Requirements:

•    MD graduated from a medical university. 
•    At least 5 years of experience in the nutrition field (BPHS)
•    Good Communication skills
•    Fluent in Dari and Pashtu, with a working knowledge of English
•    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
•    Ability to create a supportive working relationship with all project teams
•    Ability to work under pressure
•    Ability to work on Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
