Job Description:

The GBV and Case Management Coordinator is responsible for leading GBV prevention & response programs, ensuring quality case management, capacity building & interagency coordination for FHH centers and ADVS. Deploy rapidly to support humanitarian crises (GBV case management, cluster coordination), development programs (policy reform, national action plans & prevention strategies). Local capacity building (community/staff training). Oversee GBV case management (IASC guidelines & GBVIMS). Design prevention strategies (community mobilization & policy advocacy). Develop monitoring tools per WHO ethical standards and support the FHH staff and health centers in the field.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • She is responsible for humanitarian crises (GBV case management, cluster coordination).
  • Case management, referral pathway, and protection service in FHH and the health sector.
  •  Development programs (policy reform, national action plans & prevention strategies).
  •  Local capacity building (community/staff training).
  •  Oversee GBV case management (IASC guidelines & GBVIMS).
  •  Design prevention strategies (community mobilization & policy advocacy).
  •  Develop monitoring tools per WHO ethical standards.
  •  Provide technical mentorship to junior staff on ethical & survivor-centered GBV case management.
  • Organize & lead case management and responses for survivors.
  • Provide age-appropriate counseling for vulnerable women, adolescent girls, and children.
  • Provide age-appropriate quality psychosocial support in mobile and static safe spaces (including women community centers) and child-friendly spaces, including the implementation of emotional support group sessions and awareness/information sessions;
  • Ensure timely filing and storage of GBV data in the gender-based violence information
  • Represent GBV in protection clusters & sectoral meetings.
  • Strengthen health legal, psychosocial referral pathways.
  • Ensure confidential case management & donor reporting.
  •  Provide age-appropriate and survivor-centered GBV Case Management services to survivors of GBV and vulnerable women and girls in the health sector, in line with the Inter Agency GBV Case Management Guidelines, including assessment of survivors' needs.
  •  Basic counselling; support to develop and implement a care plan.
  • Support to develop and implement a safety plan, and support to access additional services in line with clients' wishes.
  • Coordinate closely with the Casework and seek support when required
  • Provide information on available services and support survivors' informed choices through referral, accompaniment, service coordination, and follow-up referral systems/pathways.
  •  Participate in regular case review meetings and coaching.
  •  Monitoring and Reporting.
  • Any other tasks assigned.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Specialized Qualification:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in the field of gender studies, social work, public health, Social Science or a related field.
  • Technical expertise in GBV case management (supervisory role), GBVIMS or Primero proficiency & PSEA policy implementation is required.
  •  Experience with cash-based GBV interventions and health.
  •  Prior experience working with organizations and the FHH  project and GBV case management.
  • Fluency in Pashto and Dari with strong communication skills, with fluency in the English language required.
  • At least 5+ years of work experience in GBV programming (humanitarian settings within UN agencies, INNOs and local NGOs or other relevant organizations on health projects, especially in the FHH project medicines management.
  • Able to manage and plan the work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
