About Faradata Social change and women empowerment organization (FSCWEO):
Faradata Social Change and Women Empowerment Organization (FSCWEO) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established on 20 July 2020 in Afghanistan. FSCWEO works to promote social change, empower women and youth, and support vulnerable communities through programs in education, health, WASH, livelihoods, human rights, and humanitarian assistance. With active offices in Kandahar, Herat, Helmand, Farah, Daikundi, and Nimruz, the organization aims to build an Afghanistan where all people—regardless of gender, ethnicity, or religion—live in dignity and equality.
Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities
The Community Mobilizer will be responsible for engaging local communities and ensuring smooth implementation of the project activities. Key tasks include:
Community Engagement
Conduct regular meetings with Community Development Councils (CDCs), Shuras, and women’s groups.
Facilitate awareness sessions on project objectives, greenhouse benefits, and participation requirements.
Beneficiary Selection
Support transparent beneficiary identification based on FSAC/UNDP-approved vulnerability criteria.
Ensure at least 50% of selected households are women-led or women-headed.
Support in Training & Implementation
Assist in organizing and facilitating technical training sessions on greenhouse management.
Mobilize beneficiaries for capacity building and gender-sensitive training.
Monitoring & Reporting
Track community-level progress, collect attendance sheets, and provide regular updates to the Project Officer.
Support FSCWEO technical staff in greenhouse construction, input distribution, and market linkage activities.
Gender & Inclusion
Promote equal participation of women and marginalized groups in project activities.
Address cultural barriers through dialogue with community elders and women’s Shuras
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Sciences, or related field.
Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in community mobilization, livelihoods, or agricultural projects (NGO/INGO experience preferred).
Good understanding of community dynamics and cultural sensitivities in Daikundi Province.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and travel to remote areas.
Important Application Guidelines:
