Job Description:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage technical health programs and projects to ensure effective implementation and achievement of objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and support for health initiatives, including clinical services, disease control, maternal and child health, and community health programs.
- Ensure compliance with national health guidelines, protocols, and standards.
- Conduct needs assessments, technical reviews, and monitoring to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, donors, and community stakeholders to strengthen health systems.
- Support capacity building and training of healthcare workers on technical health topics.
- Manage health data collection, analysis, and reporting to guide evidence-based decision-making.
- Lead the development and updating of technical guidelines, SOPs, and health protocols.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of medical and technical equipment.
- Ensure quality assurance and risk management in all technical health interventions.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for senior management and donors.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, or related health field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical health management or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of health program management, clinical services, and public health principles.
- Experience with health information systems, data management, and monitoring & evaluation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in report writing, project management, and training facilitation.
- Knowledge of donor requirements and health sector policies is an advantage.
