About Afghanistan Social and Legal Organization (ASLO):

Job Description:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the provincial hospital, ensuring alignment with health policies and goals.
  • Manage daily hospital operations, including clinical services, administrative functions, and support services.
  • Ensure compliance with government health regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
  • Develop and implement hospital budgets, financial plans, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor hospital staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
  • Coordinate with provincial health authorities, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee patient safety and quality improvement initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery.
  • Manage procurement, maintenance, and utilization of hospital equipment and facilities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the health department and hospital board.
  • Handle public relations and community engagement to promote hospital services.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hospital administration or healthcare management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial plans effectively.

Proficiency in health information systems and hospital management software is a plus.
