Job Description:
Objectives (Scope): The Finance Officer will be primarily responsible for financial activities, including ensuring that financial statements (balance sheet, statement of profit and loss, and statement of cash flow) are up-to-date according to the policies and procedures.
Finance:
- Supervise the work of finance staff and make sure staff perform their duties as per policies and procedures.
- Ensure transactions are recorded in QuickBooks promptly, and accounts are reconciled, updated, and completed.
- Responsible for checking and following up on the accounts receivable and payables regularly.
- Work with the department on budget and budget-expenses variance reports.
- Assist the company president with budgeting and other financial activities.
- Ensure that financial records are properly documented in line with the policies and procedures.
- Ensure tax laws and procedures are followed, and that tax deposits are made on time.
- Responsible for preparing and submitting monthly taxes (Wages, Contractors, Employees…).
- Responsible for preparing and submitting annual tax returns and clearance.
- Responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and statements.
- Ensures compliance and consistency with the company’s policies and procedures,
- Records and accounts for daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of required files and supporting documentation serving as evidence of transactions.
- Ensures sound cash management of local bank accounts and maintains the petty cash fund.

- Processes payroll, remits tax, and other government contributions, and reports to local agencies.
- Responsible for the full accounts payable function from procurement through payment of invoices.
- Process employee expense reimbursements.
- Ensures timely payment to all organizations’ payees and maintains sufficient and complete payee files.

Job Requirements:
Education & Qualifications: An MBA will be considered a plus. BBA or BSc degree required.
Experience: At least 3 years of practical experience in financial management
