Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of an organization by managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations, develops strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance, and provides insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making. The Finance Manager supervises accounting staff, monitors financial transactions, analyzes financial data, and prepares reports to guide short- and long-term financial planning. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and strategic thinking are essential for success in this role.
Job Requirements:
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- preparing receivable account reconciliation on monthly and yearly basis
- Completing legal forms and providing statistical information to management
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements on daily, Monthly & Yearly basis.
- Conducted and coordinated company’s monthly and year-end closings
- Reviewed and supervised the day-to-day work of accounting department staffs.
- Coordinated with internal auditor and external auditors during company annual audit
- Preparing annual and monthly departmental budget for revenue centers of the company and service centers of the company.
- Monitor the company revenue centers and service centers to meet their budget and not cross their budget in term of revenue and expenditure.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABLILITES:
- Proficiency in financial analysis and interpreting complex data.
- Leadership and team management skills, including managing finance teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Excel).
- Strong understanding of tax laws, compliance, and financial regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and ethical judgment in financial matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree (e.g., MBA with a focus in Finance) is often preferred.
- Fluency in languages: English, Dari and Pashto
