Job Description:
Position Summary:
The AutoCAD and Quantity Engineer will prepare technical drawings, conduct quantity take-offs, and ensure accuracy in project estimations for road and infrastructure projects. The position requires field presence in Uruzgan and close coordination with engineers, surveyors, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, road profiles, cross-sections, and layouts.
- Conduct site surveys and verify actual quantities against design drawings.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BoQs), and material calculations.
- Support cost estimation and technical documentation for project progress reporting.
- Review engineering designs for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain updated records of design changes, quantities, and material usage.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in road construction, quantity surveying, and AutoCAD design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, measurement, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in field conditions and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Good communication skills in English and Dari/Pashto.
