Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monthly Performance review of the provincial and health facility staff
- Review of HMIS reports
- Monthly HMIS data verification and community verification
- Monthly activity and report cross check of all departments to ensure zero discrepancy rate
- Supervision and monitoring reporting and sessions conducted
- Maintaining coordination and collaboration between all departments and levels
- Maintain above 95% performance rate of entire project activities
- Strict actions to be taken as part of committee in case of under 95% performance during monthly review
- Weekly overall performance report to project manager including next week plans and activities
- Continuous follow up of project implementation and project activity progress tracking
- Zero tolerance in delay and duplication of activities and reporting.
- Responsible for overall quality technical activities of the Project;
- Planning, supervising & monitoring/joint monitoring;
- Target setting for outcome indicators for all HFs;
- Building capacity of technical staff including HF staff based on TNA;
- Supporting planning, on the job training, monitoring of HFs (specially HFs with poor indicators);
- Being active member of emergency response committee;
- Developing remedial action plans on the feedbacks and recommendations;
- Program plan review and assessment on regular basis to ensure smooth implementation;
- Arranging technical meetings for tracking project implementation;
- Participating in PHCC, EOC, PEMT, and all BPHS/EPHS related meetings in the province;
- Maintaining and further strengthening of coordination with the MoPH/PPHD, UNICEF, WHO, EOC, REMT/ PEMT, community and other stakeholders;
- Data analyzing and preparing technical report on timely basis;
- Coordinating with Polio eradication initiative (PEI) mechanism;
- Ensuring community engagement and contribution to enhance quality services provision are coordinated;
- Implementing advanced gender/ , Mother & Child Health Rights Supporting, HQIP, waste management procedures, IP standards, and emergency response based on standards and guidelines;
- Prepare annual project work-plan/action-plan for the project in accordance with Sehatmandi Project requirements with field staff and project manager;
- Up-date job description for health staff
- Up-date the medicines order, medical material and equipment according to BPHS standards;
- Insure provision of medical and none medical supply to the facilities through related department/section;
- Implement properly the established norms and standards for achievements according BPHS and MoPH standards policy;
- Facilitate monthly meetings for different field health workers;
- According HMIS analyzing and supervision, monitoring reports from the field and give feedback;
- Actively take part in Training needs assessments process of health facilities technical staff with quality assurance officers and provides on the job training plan for the health facilities technical staff;
- Undertake regular quality control, collection and analysis of data and information;
- Take active role in all kind of survey for evaluation of health services impact in community;
- Assist and contribute to the development, production and supply of training materials/ modules/manuals for project related training and education;
- Assisting HR officer for recruitment of technical staff;
- Provides expert support to other departments in the development of BARAN policy and guideline responsive to current and future needs;
- Participating in Pharmacy RMU/IMAT Committee on monthly bases;
- Follow up and review of pharmacy data (RMU/AMAT), data analysis on weekly basis;
- Daily follow up with supervisor (IMAT/RMU) report, strictly follow up the update of stock cards.
- To ensure that all HFs submit the monthly consumption report to pharmacy department.
- Frequently Cross check PMO pharmacy stock, HFs pharmacy stock and dispensary
- Supervise at least 4 HFs on monthly base and applying the clinical audit.
- Consider RMU and follow up is NSTG is applicable
- Sharing of Final RMU/IMAT analysis with provincial Manager;
- Ensure joint monitoring/supervisions on regular basis
- Creating action plans for all the feedbacks and points
- Reporting monthly performance to project manager and CMO
- Perform any other required project-related tasks.
Job Requirements:
• Medical degree and a master’s degree in public health, and 10 years of experience managing health programmes.
• Additional training or certification in Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, or Health Systems Strengthening is an asset.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in health program management, preferably with NGOs, INGOs, or public health institutions.
• Proven experience in technical oversight of health projects, including primary health care, maternal and child health, nutrition, or communicable disease programs.
• Experience in capacity building, supervising health teams, and coordinating with Ministry of Public Health and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability in developing project proposals, report writing, and data-driven decision-making.
