Job Description:
Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of the RH Supervisor is to ensure effective implementation, supervision, and monitoring of all Reproductive Health (RH) services under the BPHS project in accordance with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) standards and guidelines. The RH Supervisor supports health facilities in improving maternal and newborn health care quality, ensures availability of essential RH services, strengthens the capacity of health workers through on-the-job coaching, and facilitates community awareness on reproductive and maternal health. The position also ensures accurate reporting, data quality, and coordination with other health program components to achieve project goals.
Main Duties and Responsibilities (BPHS Framework)
- Program Implementation and Coordination
- Work with cooperative attitude and keep a high standard of quality
- To plan, the implementation, supervision and monitoring system of the RH
- Assist the implementation of national Reproductive Health and Emergency Obstetric Care at PHPs.
- supervision, particularly Female MDs, Midwifes, female nurses of PHPs or other programs that have a focus on women and children
- To supervise PHPs RH program activities.
- To build up common awareness and ensure more attention of technical staff on main morbidity, STDs and HIV/AIDs.
- To prepare monthly reports.
- To represent ORCD in all related issues.
- Develop spirit of cooperation and understanding among members of program.
- Prepare monthly action plan and submits to related supervisor.
- Participate in RH related capacity building sessions.
- Program Implementation and Coordination
- Ensure effective implementation of all Reproductive Health (RH) components within the BPHS framework, including maternal, newborn, family planning, and adolescent health services.
- Coordinate RH activities with line manager, BPHS implementing partners, and community health networks to ensure integration and alignment with MoPH policies and strategies.
- Conduct regular supervision and monitoring visits to health facilities to assess service quality, availability of RH supplies, and compliance with MoPH protocols.
- Provide technical support and on-the-job training to midwives and health facility staff to improve RH service delivery and documentation
- Participate in coordination meetings at provincial and district levels to share progress, challenges, and recommendations related to RH activities.
- Facilitate community engagement and awareness sessions to promote utilization of RH and maternal health services.
- Ensure timely collection, analysis, and reporting of RH data.

- Proven experience in training, supervision, and coordination of mental health and disability activities at provincial or community level.
- Experience working with MoPH, WHO, UNICEF, or other health-related NNGO or IN- NGOs is an asset.

- Ability to conduct needs assessments, data analysis, and reporting using HMIS tools.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, equity, and protection principles for persons with mental health conditions or disabilities.
