Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan.

Job Description:
1. Over all management and implementation of project.
2. Assure that project all activities are according to MOPH policies and guidelines implemented.
3. Ensure that data is collected, interpreted, and prepared reports by the deadlines stipulated in donor agreements.
4. Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual project activity plan.
5. Inform program manager regarding the progress of project and any solve the problem related.
6. Identifies training needs of staff and facilitates and supports their professional development
7. Liaise with partners (governmental and non-governmental), participate in all coordination meeting with UN, NGOs and government agencies.
8. Participates in the meetings and dissemination of information related to the project
. 9. Conduct frequently monitoring and supervision of project activities from project sites. And provide monitoring report with action plan.
10. Provide feed backs to staff and ensuring progress on project planned activities.
11. Work closely with health sector management team in planning new projects/programs.
12. Undertake other tasks/responsibilities as requested by the Program Manager.
Job Requirements:
1. Medical degree/master’s degree in public health from recognized institute. 2. At least 7 years of professional experience in managing or coordinating of Health and nutrition programs in humanitarian contexts.
3. Experience in capacity building, supervising health teams, and coordinating with Ministry of Public Health and other stakeholders.
4. Proven experience in technical oversight of health projects, including primary health care, maternal and child health, nutrition, or communicable disease programs.
5. Proven leadership, team management, strong project management skills and excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
