About Compassionate Afghanistan Social Development and Humanitarian Organization (CASDHO):
Compassionate Afghanistan is a non-governmental organization established in 2024 to support vulnerable communities across Afghanistan. Job Description:
A. Program Implementation and Support
Assist the Program Manager in executing project work plans and ensuring quality,
timeliness, and compliance.
Coordinate with field teams and partners to ensure smooth and efficient
implementation.
Translate programmatic guidelines into actionable field-level tasks.
Track activity progress and immediately report challenges or delays to the Program
Manager.
B. Proposal and Concept Note Development
Support the development of project proposals and concept notes aligned with
CASDHO’s thematic focus and donor priorities.
Collect and analyze data, statistics, and background information for new proposals.
Contribute to logframe design, activity planning, and preliminary budgeting.
C. Thematic Framework and Standards Development
Contribute to developing thematic frameworks and tools for CASDHO’s core sectors
(Health, Education, Emergency Response, Social Development).
Support documentation of program standards and best practices.
Ensure programmatic alignment with international humanitarian and development
principles.
D. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
Maintain and update project trackers, KPIs, and data management tools.
Collect and compile data from field teams for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
Draft internal and external progress reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Maintain organized records and evidence for reporting and audit purposes.
E. Coordination and Liaison
Serve as the focal point for coordination between the main office and provincial
teams.
Ensure close collaboration with Finance, HR, and Logistics departments.
Represent CASDHO in coordination and cluster meetings when assigned.
Maintain communication with government counterparts and community stakeholders.
F. Donor Compliance and Management
Maintain a donor compliance tracker and ensure
all deadlines are met.
Review donor agreements to extract compliance requirements and share with project
teams.
Assist in preparing documentation for audits and donor monitoring visits.
G. Programmatic Tools and Templates
Design and maintain standard project tools such as activity forms, beneficiary lists,
and data collection templates.
Provide orientation to staff on the correct use of tools and reporting formats.
H. Documentation and Knowledge Management
Maintain organized filing systems for program records, reports, and correspondence.
Document success stories, case studies, and lessons learned.
Ensure final project files are archived properly upon project closure.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related
field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in program management, coordination,
or monitoring within NGOs or humanitarian organizations.
Strong analytical, writing, and coordination skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data management tools.
Excellent communication skills in English, Dari, and Pashto.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a multicultural
enviroment.
