We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental, Social, Health and Safety Officer to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental, social, health, and safety standards across project sites.
- Develop and implement site-specific HSSE plans, risk assessments, and awareness training.
- Conduct regular inspections of the project sites and prepare reports on environmental and safety performance.
- Engage with communities to promote awareness and resolve potential conflicts.
- Support project teams in ensuring adherence to donors and national ESHS policies.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a related policy.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental and safety management in construction projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in community engagement.
- Strong knowledge of HSSE reporting and documentation.
