Afghanistan Relief and Sustainable Development Organization (ARSDO) founded and registered with ministry of economy Afghanistan 2017. ARSDO is one of the national Non-Profit Development Organizations in Afghanistan, with deep trenched and far-reaching social interventions in the region. ARSDO is implementing community development and empowerment programs at the grass root level and to connect it at policy level. The organization adopted three pronged strategies to reach towards its destination 1) Organizing communities around issues and challenges and strengthen grass roots community institution with the philosophy of inclusion the vulnerable including women and children 2) Increased knowledge and capacities of local communities including women and children on issues and made them able to take Co Implementing partner and contribute in addressing the existing and emerging issues and challenges proactively 3) Advocacy on issues and laws (improved justice and recommendations on new laws and strategies to combat social, economic and rights based evil practices at all levels). ARSDO is implementing programs and projects i.e. Education, Health, Economic empowerment and humanitarian response with the main approach and strategy of advocacy and service delivery.

Job Description:

Job Purpose:

The Female Medical Doctor is responsible for providing outpatient and emergency health services to patients, supervising clinic staff, ensuring proper implementation of HMIS, and maintaining coordination with community health structures. She plays a key role in quality healthcare delivery and compliance with MoPH and WHO standards and lab investigation and treatment protocols.

  • Conduct daily outpatient consultations and treatments (OPD)
  • Identify and provide initial treatment for emergency cases.
  • Provide on-the-job training and supervision to health facility staff.
  • Manage and organize all clinical operations of the health facility.
  • Prepare and submit accurate HMIS monthly reports.
  • Coordinate effectively with local health committees and communities.
  • Support immunization, nutrition, and public health programs.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • MD Degree (Medical Doctor) from a recognized university and completion of exit exam.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in clinical services.
  • Knowledge of BPHS/EPHS is an advantage.
  • Good command of Pashto, Dari, and basic English.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).

  • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to diagnose and treat common illnesses.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate healthcare staff.
  • Skilled in report writing and data management (HMIS).
  • Ability to organize and manage workload under pressure.
  • Sensitivity to cultural and gender issues.
  • Commitment to teamwork, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Lead and participate in monthly staff meetings at the facility.
  • Organize training courses to enhance staff capacity.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Working Conditions:

  • Based at the assigned Health Facility.
  • Regular field presence may be required.
  • May need to travel to nearby clinics or project sites.
  • Normal working hours apply, flexibility during emergencies.
