• Infrastructure Automation: Implement and maintain automation for server provisioning, configuration management, and deployment using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Design and manage automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bamboo for on-prem applications.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage Docker containers and on-prem Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters for internal applications.
• Monitoring & Logging: Implement centralized logging and monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, ELK Stack, or Zabbix.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce on-prem security practices, including patching, access control, and vulnerability scanning.
• High Availability & Performance: Ensure critical systems are highly available, resilient, and optimized for performance.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with developers, QA, and system admins to streamline releases, resolve production issues, and mentor team members.
• Disaster Recovery: Design and test backup, recovery, and failover strategies for enterprise systems.

• Experience: 5+ years in DevOps, systems administration, or IT operations in on-prem environments.
• Operating Systems: Expert in Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments.
• Automation & Scripting: Advanced knowledge of Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, TeamCity, or similar.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift experience in on-prem clusters.
• Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, ELK Stack, Zabbix, or similar.
• Problem Solving: Ability to resolve complex issues in production environments.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code best practices.
• Familiarity with observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Experience with agile development processes
• Knowledge of CI/CD for legacy applications.
• Experience with high-availability clusters, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with security compliance frameworks relevant to on-prem setups (ISO, SOC2, etc.).
