AWEC has successfully implemented projects in Logar, Faryab, Kapisa, Khost, Panjshir, Wardak, Kabul, Balkh, Herat, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Badakhshan, Parwan, Paktia, Paktika, Laghman, Nuristan, and Bamyan provinces, maintaining an active presence in Kabul, Balkh, Herat, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Badakhshan, Parwan, Paktia, Paktika, Laghman, Nuristan, and Bamyan.

Job Description:
Community mobilizer couples will be responsible for community mobilization and sensitization sessions, registration and verification of participants’ lists, and supporting the distribution of food and hygiene kits for two months.
Responsibilities:
Conduct community mobilization and sensitization sessions for hygiene and food distribution interventions.
Register and verify beneficiaries for project interventions.
Support the distribution of food and hygiene kits and monitor the process.
Facilitate community feedback mechanisms and help desks.
Promote awareness of project activities and services.
Engage with community leaders and local authorities.
Ensure gender-sensitive and inclusive outreach.
Document and report on community mobilization activities.
Support MEAL teams in beneficiary verification and monitoring.
Address community concerns and provide information on project services.
Ensure safe and respectful interactions with beneficiaries.
Participate in regular training and supervision sessions.
Contribute to post-distribution monitoring and feedback collection.
Promote a safe and respectful environment for all community members.
Support the referral pathway for vulnerable cases.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, or related field preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in community mobilization, social work, outreach, or similar roles.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of local context, traditions, and community dynamics.
Ability to engage diverse groups, including women and vulnerable populations.
