Job Description:
- Responsible for overall infectious disease activities of the Project.
- Making comprehensive plan for the control of contagious diseases and its spread.
- Monitoring of national communicable diseases such as TB and malaria and HIV.
- Take active part in facilitation of communicable diseases and get preparation for Cholera and other infectious diseases out breaks.
- Preparing quarterly reports and report them to line manager.
- Travel to field at least spend one week.
- Responsible of all communicable diseases, which are spreading quickly like meningitis.
- Ensure proper implementation of IP standards in HFs
- Travel and supervise to health facilities.
- Sharing information with other stakeholders about those diseases, which are preventable by vaccines.
- Participate and facilitate different training session for the HFs staff
- 60-70% of his time should be spent in supervision visits to the HFs
- Any other task assigning by line manager.
Job Requirements:
- Graduated from recognized Medical faculty
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in Communicable disease and BPHS/EPHS
- Experience in planning, monitoring, supervision and training.
- Good understanding of the Communicable disease services provided in BPHS.
- Good team work spirit
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
- Language skills: Fluent in written and spoken Pashto/Dari and English
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Good command of English, Fluent in Dari and Pashto both verbally and written
- Computing skills (Ms Office: word and excel, internet) is essential
- Team player, capacity builder, flexible in working hours
- Honest and trustworthy
- Having reporting skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet the deadlines
