Welthungerhilfe it is one of Germany's biggest non-governmental relief organizations. Job Description:

Objectives, Duties, Areas of Responsibility

1. Objectives of the Position

  • Implement project activities based on deadlines and organizational, contractual, and financial guidelines.

  • Responsible for procurement, technical measures, and/or social components within project assignments.

2. Duties and Areas of Responsibility

2.1 Duties without own area of responsibility

  • Conduct specialist workshops

  • Consultancy for introduction, maintenance, or rehabilitation of technical equipment; social issues; or other areas relevant to the position

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards

  • Management and maintenance of technical equipment (if applicable)

  • Train and instruct national staff

  • Monitor inventory management of relief supplies (incoming/outgoing goods, stock checks, resupply) and distribution

  • Document technical and procurement processes as per co-financing agreement or Welthungerhilfe directives (e.g., AAR)

  • Prepare project progress reports

  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by management

2.2 Specific Activities and Duties of the Position

 1. Support technical planning and implementation of project livelihoods i.e on-farm, off-farm and none farm  relelvant activities based on the community needs.

2. Develop value chain, agrobusiness, enterprise development and home based bussiness revelment training material and deliver the trainings.

3. link the the target beneficiaries with market agents and input suppliers for creating a linkage between producers and market players.

4. Development of relevant training materials and handouts and delivery and facilitating the training to the target beneficiareies .

5. Select the potential value chains which aligns with the project objectives and support through technical instructions and assistances .

6. coordinate with project stakeholders at provincial, district and community level for smooth project implementation.

7. Consider the genders segregation during the beneficiaries listing and attenion must be paid to focus more on vulnerable and HH headed women.
8. Develop training materials and awareness sessions for community people.
9. Support livelihood assistants in delivery of training/awareness sessions at community level.
10. Supervise implementation process at community level and provide technical recommendations for improving activities.
11. Plan and lead conduct of market linkage events at district and provincial level.

12. coordinate with nutrition specialist for integration of activities

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in Agriculture extenion, agribusiness,  Economics, Community Development or related area. Master degree particularly  will be preferred.
2. Fluency in local languages (Dari and Pashto, Uzbiki would be an advantage).
3. Excellent in writing, speaking and undrestanding of English language.
4. Having at least five years similar working experience with (I)NGOs

5. good understanding of computer skills
