Job Description:
Responsible for drafting, translating, recording, issuing, and archiving official letters and communications with ministries and external institutions in multiple languages (Dari, Pashto, Russian, etc.), ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with official protocols.
• Draft official letters, memos, and correspondence addressed to ministries and government bodies.
• Translate documents accurately between Dari, Pashto, Russian, and other required languages.
• Record, register, issue, and track all outgoing and incoming correspondence.
• Maintain an organized filing and archiving system (hard copy and electronic).
• Ensure correct formatting, official language, stamps, references, and approval processes.
• Coordinate with internal departments and follow up on responses from ministries.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, Public Administration, International Relations, or a related field
Certification in translation or administrative communication is an advantage
Work Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in office administration, correspondence, or clerical work
Experience in translation of official documents (Dari/Pashto to Russian or other languages
Key Technical Skills:
Excellent written and verbal proficiency in Dari and Pashto (mandatory).
Strong translation skills to and from Russian (mandatory); English is an asset.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, email systems, and document management.
Knowledge of official letter formats, government protocols, and record-keeping systems.
Ability to use scanners, printers, and basic office equipment.
