Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is an international, non-profitable, non-governmental humanitarian relief organization with its head quarter in Birmingham, UK. It enjoys consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and is a signatory to the Code of Conduct for International Red Cross and red Crescent Moments and NGOs in Disaster Relief. Islamic Relief has been working in Afghanistan for more than 23 years, providing emergency relief and implementing life-changing development projects for some of the most vulnerable people in the country. Islamic Relief set up our first Afghanistan office in 1999. Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, livelihood, education, health, nutrition, shelter, orphan sponsorship, Ramadan and Qurbani programmes.

• Assist radiology staff in preparing patients for diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray and other imaging modalities.
• Support accurate patient positioning to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
• Learn to operate radiology equipment safely under the supervision of certified radiographers.
• Observe and assist in image acquisition, processing, and storage procedures.
• Accurately record and organize patient data and imaging results in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Assist in maintaining, cleaning, and calibrating radiology equipment.
• Follow radiation protection and safety guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Support preparation of imaging results for review by radiologists and physicians.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient medical information.
• Participate in continuous learning activities to enhance technical knowledge and professional competence in medical imaging.

Required Field of Study: Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology, Medical Imaging, or related field.
