Job Description:
Position Definition:
- Lead nationwide sales operations across Kabul, Mazar, and Herat, managing distributor relationships and 3-city sales teams.
Key Role:
- Drive revenue targets, expand wholesale and retail coverage, and build sustainable distribution networks for FMCG products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and manage 3 Territory Sales Managers and 9 sales reps.
- Negotiate and manage distributor/wholesaler agreements in all cities
- Set monthly sales targets by city, distributor, and SKU
- Monitor daily sales performance and inventory offtake
- Conduct weekly sales reviews and territory visits
- Design sales incentive programs and promotional mechanics
- Competitor intelligence tracking and pricing strategy adjustments
- Retailer mapping and new channel development
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years FMCG sales experience in Afghanistan
- Managed multi-city sales teams (10+ people)
- Established distributor network in Kabul, Mazar, Herat (strong advantage)
- Proven track record meeting/exceeding revenue targets
- Experience with ambient FMCG categories (dairy, sauces, snacks, beverages)
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Fluent in Dari/Pashto and English
