Afghanistan Development and Welfare Services Organization (ADWSO) is a national non-governmental organization established in 2008 and operating across Afghanistan. ADWSO works to improve the livelihoods and well-being of vulnerable communities through interventions in livelihood support, agriculture, vocational training, child protection, capacity building, and women’s empowerment.

• Lead overall implementation of project across different regions
• Provide technical oversight for:
  • Farmer capacity building and extension services
  • Crop production technologies, irrigation practices, soil fertility, and IPM
  • Input distribution (seeds, seedlings, fertilizers, pesticides)
• Supervise and guide Agriculture Master Trainers, Agriculture Economist, and Marketing Officer
• Coordinate with DAIL, CDCs, cooperatives, and relevant stakeholders for smooth field operations
• Ensure integration of gender-sensitive approaches, including separate training arrangements for female farmers
• Oversee implementation of Cash-for-Work activities related to small-scale irrigation and land rehabilitation
• Ensure compliance with HSSE, PSEA, and environmental safeguards
• Lead reporting, monitoring, and documentation of project outputs and outcomes
• Represent the project achievement to the ADWSO management, donor agency and other partners

• Post-bachelor or graduate-level degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Agricultural Economics from a recognized institution
• Minimum 5 years of experience in agriculture development projects, preferably farmer training and irrigation-related programs
