Afghanistan Development and Welfare Services Organization (ADWSO) is a national non-governmental organization established in 2008 and operating across Afghanistan. ADWSO works to improve the livelihoods and well-being of vulnerable communities through interventions in livelihood support, agriculture, vocational training, child protection, capacity building, and women’s empowerment.
Job Description:
- Deliver structured training on:
- Crop production techniques
- Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
- Soil fertility and nutrient management
- Efficient irrigation methods (drip, furrow, water conservation)
- Conduct Training of Trainers (ToT) for lead farmers using a cascade model
- Support establishment of farmer learning groups and peer networks
- Provide hands-on field demonstrations and seasonal advisory support
- Ensure training materials are adapted to local crops, climate, and literacy levels
- Support female farmer trainings through tailored and gender-sensitive approaches
- Document training sessions and contribute to progress reporting
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IPM, Farmer, irrigation, or agricultural extension
- Strong facilitation and adult-learning skills
- Practical, field-based training experience
- Ability to work in rural and remote areas
