Afghanistan Development and Welfare Services Organization (ADWSO) is a national non-governmental organization established in 2008 and operating across Afghanistan. ADWSO works to improve the livelihoods and well-being of vulnerable communities through interventions in livelihood support, agriculture, vocational training, child protection, capacity building, and women’s empowerment.
Job Description:
- Facilitate input and output market linkages for farmers
- Support farmers on:
- Product quality standards
- Packaging, grading, and basic branding
- Market-ready volumes and bulking strategies
- Organize B2B meetings between farmers, traders, processors, and buyers
- Support establishment and strengthening of farmer clusters/cooperatives
- Coordinate with private sector actors and agro-SMEs for sustained market access
- Contribute to market-related reporting and success stories
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or Marketing
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in agricultural marketing or market facilitation
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Understanding of local agricultural markets
- Practical experience working with farmers and traders
