About Afghanistan Rehabilitation and Women Education Organization (ARWEO):

ARWEO is a nonprofit organization with a visionary focus on the rehabilitation and protection of vulnerable communities in Afghanistan. ARWEO has a strategic goal of assisting the lifesaving and immediate needs of the marginalized population including IDPs, refugees, and host communities in eastern, central, northern and central highlands regions. Job Description:

Summary:

Admin Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and operational support., maintains smooth office operations, and manages key administrative functions. also supports engagement with governmental and non-governmental organizations while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communication with governmental and non- governmental organizations.
  • Act as a liaison between the regional office and central administration.
  • Assigns jobs and duties to office staff as needed.
  • Monitors office operations.
  • Manage and maintain office facilities, ensuring cleanliness, health, and safety protocols are in place.
  • Tracks office supply inventory and approves supply orders.
  • Assists in the preparation of department budgets and expenses.
  • Manage scheduling of meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Assists office staff in maintaining files and databases.
  • Typing letters.
  • Managing diaries.
  • Booking travel.
  • Maintaining office equipment.
  • Answering the phone and providing switchboard cover.
  • Looking after visitors.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Booking travel.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, BBA, or Related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an administrative or office management role.
  • 2 years of experience in letter writing and report writing in Dari, Pashto and English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to anticipate risks, make data-driven decisions, and maintain focus under pressure.
