About Kunduz Rehabilitation Agency:

Kunduz Rehabilitation Agency (KRA) is an NGO that was established in Kunduz city of In Afghanistan in 1995. KRA emerged from Afghanaid
International UK NGO and was named after the city of Kunduz, where it was established. The reason for Afghanaid to establish KRA was due
to the constant internal conflicts and warlord fights that made it impossible for Afghanaid to continue its operations in the region. Therefore,
Afghanaid decided to hand over its ongoing projects to KRA for the betterment of the community in all over Afghanistan. Since its inception,
KRA has been committed to uplifting the downtrodden, disadvantaged, and vulnerable groups of people in Afghanistan. KRA firmly believes

Job Description:

KRA is seeking a qualified Admin, Logistics, and Finance Officer to support the Project Manager in managing daily financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent financial activities within the field office. This role includes assistance with transaction recording, reconciliations, payroll processing, cash management, and month-end and year-end closures.

The Admin, Logistics, and Finance Officer will provide comprehensive administrative support to the project team, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and maintaining project documentation. This position will oversee logistics planning and execution for project activities, which entails the procurement of goods and services, distribution of materials, and transportation arrangements for personnel.

Key responsibilities include managing inventory to ensure proper tracking of project supplies and materials, along with timely reordering and distribution as necessary. The officer will also develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to foster cost-effective procurement and ensure quality service delivery.

Additionally, the officer will ensure compliance with KRA and FAO administrative policies and procedures across all aspects of project operations and coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and logistics for project staff and stakeholders as required.

KRA maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA).

Job Requirements:

  • Assist with all financial operations within the field office, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in recording transactions.
  • Support the Finance Manager in reconciling, analyzing, and documenting daily financial transactions.
  • Aid in the preparation for month-end and year-end financial closures, ensuring all reports are accurate and complete.
  • Reconcile asset liabilities, revenue, and expense accounts with supporting documents and schedules on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain records of cash advances from the regional office and project cash accounts, providing daily cash balances to management as required.
  • Ensure secure handling of cash in safes and maintain related records.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of all accounting information and supporting documents, preparing necessary schedules and analyses.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned by the management team to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that internal control policies and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of bi-monthly payrolls under the guidance of the Finance Manager.
  • Prepare payment, receipt, and transfer vouchers to support cash transactions, ensuring that all are reviewed and approved by authorized personnel.
  • Record all financial transactions in the cash book and electronic sub-journals daily, ensuring correct coding and organized filing of records.
  • Compile financial documents for reporting purposes, including copying, scanning, and filing.
  • Enter purchase transactions into the cash register to calculate total amounts due.
  • Accept cash and checks, ensuring transactions are completed according to established procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective procurement and quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and logistics for project staff and stakeholders as required.
  • Ensure compliance with KRA and FAO administrative policies and procedures in all aspects of project operations.
