Job Summary

The Factory Operations Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising all manufacturing and production activities to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations while meeting quality standards and production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily factory operations and production schedules

Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and deadlines

Manage factory staff, including supervisors, technicians, and workers

Monitor machine performance, maintenance schedules, and downtime reduction

Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations

Control production costs, materials usage, and waste reduction

Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, GMP, HACCP where applicable)

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse departments

Prepare production reports and performance analysis for management

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity

Train staff and develop operational procedures and SOPs

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Managment of business administration, Manufacturing, or related field

Minimum 5–10 years of experience in factory or production management

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning

Experience in staff supervision and performance management

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and decision-making skills

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Knowledge of quality control and safety standards

Good communication and team-management skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Proficiency in production planning and reporting tools
