Khana-e-Noor No. 3 International School was established in 2009 with an initial enrollment of 70 students and a strong commitment to providing quality education to the community. Over the years, through consistent academic progress, dedicated leadership, and the tireless efforts of qualified teachers and staff, the school has experienced significant growth and development. Today, the school proudly serves more than 1,600 students, reflecting the trust and confidence placed in the institution by parents and the wider community.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Prepare classroom for class activities.
• Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
• Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
• Use relevant technology to support instruction.
• Observe and evaluate student's performance and development.
• Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments.
• Provide appropriate feedback on work.
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
• Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by law, district policies and school regulations.
• Prepare required reports on students and activities.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
• Apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary.
• Perform certain pastoral duties including student support, counseling students with academic problems and providing student encouragement.
• Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs and student organizations.
• Participate in department and school meetings, parent meetings.
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
• Keep updated with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities.

• Candidates applying for teaching positions at Khana-e-Noor No. 3 International School must meet the following minimum qualifications and professional standards:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or in the relevant subject area from an accredited institution. A Master’s degree is preferred for senior or specialized positions.
  • Completion of recognized professional teacher education and training programs in accordance with school, district, and national education standards.
  • Valid teaching certification or licensure as required by state or national education authorities.
  • Single-subject teaching credential or specialized certification for applicants teaching subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, ICT, or other specialized disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience in classroom teaching, preferably within primary or secondary education, depending on the position applied for.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, student assessment, and differentiated instruction.
  • Ability to integrate modern teaching strategies and educational technology into daily classroom practice.
  • Proficiency in using computers, interactive displays, projectors, and other classroom technologies.
  • Ability to use learning management systems (LMS), online assessment tools, and digital content platforms for teaching and student progress tracking.
  • Basic to advanced skills in office productivity software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and online collaboration tools).
  • Ability to support blended learning, virtual learning, and digital communication with students and parents when required.
  • Awareness of digital safety, responsible technology use, data privacy, and online student protection standards.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, especially in educational technology and innovative teaching methods.
  • Understanding of child development, student wellbeing, student safeguarding, and child protection responsibilities.
  • High standards of professional ethics, honesty, integrity, and accountability.
  • No criminal record and no history of arrest or legal violations related to moral or professional misconduct; candidates must be willing to provide official police clearance or background check if required.
  • Demonstrated sense of responsibility, punctuality, reliability, and professional behavior at all times.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute positively to the overall school culture and community.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and institutional goals.
