Job Description:
We are seeking qualified and motivated individual females to apply for the position of Surveyor to support field data collection activities in Kabul, Mazar, Takhar, Badakhshan, Khost, Herat, and Nangarhar provinces.
The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys, interviews, and field data collection in assigned locations while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to project guidelines. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in diverse field environments.

Job Requirements:

High school or Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Agriculture, Rural Development, or a related field.

Relevant training in data collection, monitoring & evaluation (M&E), or field research is an advantage.

Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in field surveys, household assessments, or livelihood-related projects.

Prior experience working with NGOs, community-based organizations, or development projects is preferred.

Experience in conducting baseline, endline, or needs assessment surveys is desirable.

Strong knowledge of survey methodologies, questionnaire administration, and sampling techniques.

Ability to collect accurate quantitative and qualitative data in field settings.

Familiarity with data collection tools such as KoBoToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO, or paper-based surveys.

Basic data verification, cleaning, and reporting skills.

Ability to use GPS-enabled devices for location tracking (if required).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with community members.

Fluency in local languages/dialects is required; working knowledge of English is preferred.

Ability to explain survey objectives clearly and obtain informed consent from respondents.

Strong observation and documentation skills.

High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Willingness and ability to travel frequently to remote or rural areas.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
