Job Description:
- The implementation of Reproductive, Maternal, New-born and Child Health (RMNCAH) activities will ensure quality of care in RMNCAH, Nutrition and EPI service delivery at Provincial/field levels.
- Ensure quality of care through implementation of RMNCAH HQIP standard.
- Coordinate RMNCAH and MIYCN for pregnant and lactating women activities with MoPH and, BPHS and INGO/ NGOs at national level.
- Regularly attend the RMNCAH committee meeting at national level and adjust the RMNCAH activities with the new approach.
- Undertake regular supportive supervision to the project sites and provide on the Job coaching and training for the HFs staff to promote RMNCAH and MIYCN activities.
- Conduct need assessment and identify the area of need for improvement and will organize the capacity building plan for the RMNCAH and MIYCN staff.
- Collect RMNCAH data from project team for further analysis and submission to Project Officer and Project coordinator and PPHD/MoPH on timely basis.
- Conduct regular meetings with female beneficiary communities to ensure the effectiveness of the project and to promote their active involvement in decision-making regarding the services provided.
- Participate in capacity building activities for training of health facility staff on RMNCAH
- Provide monthly activities report.
- Follow established policies, procedures, and objectives; continuous quality improvement initiative; safety, environmental, and infection prevention standards.
- Identify and report immediately any problem which interferes in the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives to her immediate line Officer

- She must be accompanied by a Mahram during field visits
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- The candidate must be a Medical Doctor (MD), graduated from a recognized medical faculty.
- The candidate should have 5 years’ experience in RMNCAH in BPHS/EPHS or similar health projects with international or national NGOs
Experience:
- Familiarity with MoPH HMIS tools is an asset.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in project management, including basic administration and coordination.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in RMNCAH, BPHS/EPHS, or primary health care programs.
- Solid understanding of clinical protocols, including BEmONC, IMNCI, family planning, and newborn care.
- Demonstrated experience in supervision, capacity building, mentoring, and quality assurance.
- Proven ability to design and deliver health and nutrition trainings.
- Strong professional reputation and credibility (desirable).
- Excellent management, leadership, and training skills.
- Strong capacity‑building abilities and effective teamwork skills, with sensitivity to cultural and gender dynamics.
- Willingness and ability to travel to remote and hard‑to‑reach districts within the province with Mahram.
Competency:
- The candidate will have good human and communication skills, excellent command over Microsoft Office particularly MS excel and MS Word, planning, and organization management skills.
- The candidate should fluently speak Dari, Pashto and basic English
