Job Description:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with correspondent banks, development banks, and other financial institution clients to support Ghazanfar bank’s funding, trade, and treasury activities.
- Lead the onboarding process for new financial institution relationships, coordinating KYC/AML due diligence, credit assessments, and compliance approvals.
- Perform regular credit and country risk analyses on financial institution counterparties, ensuring exposures remain within approved limits.
- Coordinate issuance and confirmation of letters of credit, guarantees, and other trade finance instruments in cooperation with the trade operations and risk teams.
- Promote and cross-sell treasury and cash management solutions to financial institution clients.
- Ensure all interbank activities comply with local and international regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements.
- Establish, monitor, and review counterparty exposure and country limits, escalating breaches or unusual exposures to senior management.
- Stay informed on market developments, central bank policies, and financial institution credit events to anticipate opportunities and risks.
- Prepare and present regular management information (MI) reports on interbank positions, pricing trends, and profitability to senior management.
- Work closely with operations, IT, legal, and compliance teams to streamline processes, implement system enhancements, and address any operational issues.

Job Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
•Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA, MSc in Finance or Treasury Management).
Experience Required
Minimum: 3–5 years of experience in financial institutions relationship management, treasury operations, correspondent banking, or trade finance.
•Preferred: Strong experience with interbank transactions, NOSTRO/VOSTRO accounts, and cross-border payments in a regulated banking environment.

•Interbank markets, correspondent banking, SWIFT operations, and bilateral agreements.
