Job Description:
We are expecting an increase in our operations and for this purpose, we are creating a pool of candidates for different positions listed below.

- Ensure excellent discipline and grooming standards are always displayed while on duty.
- Ensure all equipment used at the designated work location is in good working order and report any fault to the Passenger Services Duty Manager/ Supervisor.
- Ensure that the system integrity while using workstations is maintained by always observing recommended best practices on passwords etc.
- Must always be thorough whilst checking passenger documents like visa, ticket, passport etc. to avoid any error.
- Report any irregularity or service shortfall to the senior management on duty to enable service recovery and appropriate corrective action to be taken.
- Attend to passengers and raise reports for mishandled baggage or property irregularity, update systems regularly and respond to passenger queries.
- Ensure that left behind baggage or baggage received for transfer are dispatched to the stations concerned as per the airlines and security procedure.
- Ensure that the delivery of claimed baggage is done with proper documents and as per the airline contracts.
- Turnaround Coordinator
Please note that the Turnaround Coordinator role is an operational, airside position based on the ramp area. This role involves active coordination during aircraft turnaround and is not a routine office-based job.
- Reports to the OCC Controller at start of shift and receives his assigned radio and tablet device for the shift. He is responsible for assigned equipment and must hand it back to OCC controller at the end of the shift.
- Receives his allocation and airline specific briefing from the OCC controller and plans for his flights’ handling and collects all relevant documentation. Files ATC flight plans and gets the general declaration stamped at immigration for flights requiring the service.
- Informs key departments of any flight specific handling request and ensures they are ready to provide the services.
- Flight Arrival: The Turn around coordinator arrives at the parking bay 15 minutes before flight arrival and checks that loading team is present, FOD checks are done, aerobridge operator is present, arranges for coaches if flight is parked on remote and coordinates coach release with arrivals passenger services team.
- Upon aircraft arrival passes the arrival information to OCC Controller.
- Monitors the turn around process and ensures cabin cleaning, aircraft security screening teams, joining baggage are on track for safe on time departure.
- Collects incoming documents including load sheet, pax and cargo manifest and GD for filing in OCC.
- Records all handling services and activities on the PDA or flight dispatch sheet if PDA unavailable.
- Coordinates with passengers’ services for final passenger figures, boarding clearance and ensures VIP passengers are boarded.
- During boarding checks the boarding passes of passengers to ensure correct flight number and date.
- Coordinates the delivery of load sheet to the crew and receives the boarding over advice form the boarding gate staff.
- Gives the clearance to close the cargo holds and cabin doors.
- Takes the departure time of the flight and passes this to OCC Controller for AODB update.
- The turnaround coordinator raises reports for aircraft, baggage and cargo damage and informs airline and OCC and documents the damage by taking pictures for further processing.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social sciences and other related fields is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in each field.
- The incumbent should have ground handling, airport operations and airline industry knowledge.
- Having airport training courses and certificates is an advantage.
- As a Turnaround Coordinator, able to work in ramp/airside area.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
- Sound understanding of Afghanistan labor law, human resources processes, and practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English, Dari/Pashto – written and spoken.
