Job Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master’s degree is Preferer
- Professional Engineer (PE) license. *Preferred
- At least five years of experience in road engineering and Construction.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with local and state regulations and guidelines.
- Experience with sustainable and environmentally-friendly construction practices.
- Leadership experience in managing engineering teams or projects.
- Professional Engineering license or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Working knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing road design plans and specifications
- Conducting site inspections and assessments.
- Preparing bedding documents and BQ’s for projects.
- Working with cross-functional teams to identify project needs and requirements
- Coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to ensure project completion within budget and timeline
- Performing cost estimating and budgeting for road projects
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable national and international regulations and standards
- Providing technical support and guidance to project teams
- Preparing project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
