Job Description:

1. PSS & Stress Management Support

  • Facilitate basic stress management and group PSS sessions for livelihood and agriculture clients
  • Support life-skills activities such as problem-solving, communication, and emotional regulation
  • Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment during sessions
  • Use participatory and culturally appropriate methods

2. Integration with Livelihood Activities

  • Coordinate with livelihood and agriculture trainers to integrate PSS elements into training
  • Support group discussions related to stress, resilience, and coping linked to livelihoods
  • Encourage peer support and social cohesion among participants

3. Community Engagement

  • Mobilize and follow up with livelihood participants for PSS activities
  • Support awareness sessions on well-being, self-care, and positive coping strategies
  • Assist in identifying vulnerable participants who may need additional support

4. Psychological First Aid & Referrals

  • Provide basic Psychological First Aid (PFA) when needed, in line with training
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect clients’ dignity at all times

5. Monitoring & Reporting

  • Keep simple attendance records and activity reports
  • Share feedback and challenges with program lead

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology
  • 1-2 year relevant experience in community-based programs, livelihoods, protection, or PSS
  • Communication and reporting skills
  • Fluency in Pashto, Dari and English
  • Computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, Access, and internet) an advantage
  • Ability to work closely, professionally, and constructively with all others regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, race, tribe, or cultural background
