Job Description:
A Director of Projects for our Western Region is sought for Global Partners-Afghanistan. This Director will oversea daily project operations and staff in Herat Province, Afghanistan. The Director will work with local and international staff as well as international donors.
Job Requirements:
At the direction of Regional Director, the employee will oversee project design and implementation in Herat Province while directing, encouraging and leading project managers and staff. Experience in an administrative role and work while coordinating and advising staff is needed.
The employee will cooperate with Global Partners Kabul office employees to secure government approval and timely completion of all project work. Our Herat Office has also recently branched out with projects in agriculture so some backgrouin in agriculture will aid in the position The employee will ensure that all GP project work is completed with the highest standards of professionalism and respect for all parties, including beneficiaries and international donors. The employee will also will provide timely and thorough reporting on project staff, finances, and progress to Regional Director.
