Job Description:
Scope of Work:
As part of the B-AQBE project activities, Community Mobilization Training will be delivered to 2,640 community members in Nangarhar province. For this purpose, the project is to hire 10 qualified Casual Trainers from the local area to conduct the training sessions effectively at community level.
Purpose of the Position:
Casual Trainers will be responsible for delivering Community Mobilization Training using the training materials and methodology provided, ensuring active participation and proper understanding of participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Community Mobilization training sessions as per training plan.
- Facilitate sessions using participatory training methods.
- Ensure effective communication of key messages to participants.
- Manage group discussions and encourage participation.
- Coordinate with the project team during the training days.
- Submit attendance sheets and a brief training report after completion.
- Respect local culture, norms, and community sensitivities.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- BA in education, science or a related field.
- Must be familiar with Nangarhar province.
- 2-3 years of experience as a trainer, facilitator, or community worker.
- Fluency in local languages (Pashto and/or Dari).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage groups effectively.
- Experience working with communities.
- Punctual, responsible, and committed to assigned tasks.
- Must have good time management, multitasking skills
- Good teamwork and leadership skills are essential to motivate different groups of people to fulfil their responsibilities within a given time frame.
- Demonstrates well-developed interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as negotiation skills.
- Values diversity, inclusion, people with disabilities and minorities in Afghanistan.
